Top things to do in Tarifa

During the day, besides going to the beach, you can visit the sights of the city that are not many. There is the castle in front of the port that I did not make much of a visit inside because they did not recommend me. It has a main square full of trees and is pleasant to walk around at night and is also close to the harbor and to the hostel Melting Point that I stayed.

In a parallel street there is a kind of very interesting stone arch that gives entrance to the old town where more towards the end of the day gets busy, due to the restaurants that exist in the region. On the same street in the background is a church. This place is good to go to dinner before going to some party.

Close by are the bars where young people gather to party. At this location we met a young man who was doing duck bachelor party and we took some funny pictures.

In addition to this street, we also visited a traditional event that takes place all year in September and was happening about a 30 minute walk from the center. We went with a hostel group that included different nationalities. After a walk along the coast until arriving at the famous party of the places, we had a scare. It looked like a fun park and had several nightclub restaurants playing local music.

It was a family atmosphere, but we went to break up one of the parties that at the entrance promised us a jug of beer for 6 euros.

It was really cool because I played a lot of local music and also some really old songs. The DJ seemed to be pretty outdated, but it was pretty funny.
