In Mumbai tuktuks respect the use of taximeters which is great for tourists. I stayed 5 days over there exploring and trying to get my way to Delhi. There are 3 big regions to explore: Colaba, Bandra e Juhu.

Colaba is the most touristic district where you have great hotels, including Taj Mahal Palace hotel and the Gateway of India, an important historical attraction.

Close by the main railway station you can also observe Mumbai town hall and Victoria Terminal.

Bandra is a great spot to explore at night, great restaurants and nightlife. If you decide to visit during the day you can have a look at Bandra-Worli Sea Link bridge.

From the bridge I got a tuktuk to a Lebanese restaurant called Carter’s Express to eat some spicy swarma.

Juhu is the district where I was staying overnight. Many Bollywood artists live in this area and you can visit an important theater called Prithvi. In this restaurant I ate cheese Parantha, a typical Indian dish.

Another attraction from Juhu is the beach with fully dressed people swimming.

For last but not least, it is an interesting cultural experience to visit Hare Krishna temples that are free of charge and you must only take off your shoes before entering.
