I visited Goa for only 3 days. I stayed in Jungle Hostel in the vagator beach, north area of Goa.To get there I took a motorbike ride for 150 INR from the bus station.

The best way to explore Goa is renting a scooter that will cost you around 250 INR a day. Sometimes the police will stop you and try to get some cash but you should refuse to pay. I was never stopped because I always had helmet and my international driving license. I met a belgium guy in the hostel and gave him a ride to the house of his friend.

After renting the bike, I went to explore the region with Nadia, a russian girl I met in the hostel.

After that we went to a viewpoint, a castle in the top of a mountain and from there you could see the vagator beach. There are 2 beaches over there, on the right side you can only see indians and on the left is where the foreigners visit. In this one I had a great plate with pasta, chicken and white sauce from only 120 INR.

I went to the Arambol beach, north Goa and on the way Nadia decided to learn how to conduce a motorcycle and she had a small incident. We went to a local hospital, where the chief doctor wasn’t even wearing flipflops. He made a curative and we followed the road.

The beach was less crowded and apparently cleaner than vagator. It took us around 45 minutes to get there. An indian family asked me to take a picture with them. This is pretty common since there are not that many white people and touristis in India.
