The blue city of Chefchaouen

Chefchaouen is an impressive city as it is completely painted blue in many shades. I arrived in Chefchaouen in the north of Morocco at night, along with my Brazilian friend Pedro Dias. The hostel that we had made the reservation reported that there was only one bed available. Yet he remembered the open-air terrace and showed me if I would bother to stay there that night. On the contrary, I found the proposal very interesting and stayed on the terrace

The problem is that he forgot to mention that within 50 meters there was a mosque with the first praying time at 5AM. Punctually at 5 the next day a deafening noise of someone in the microphone of the mosque  started calling the faithful to pray and that lasted for about twenty minutes.

We crossed uncountable blue corridors in a city that was very similar to the Brazilian slums.

We crossed a bridge and reached the other side of the town so we could have a view point from the entire Chefchaouen. In the end of the day we stopped for lunch: chicken, potato and a curry rice.
