A great sandwich in Amsterdam

Finding the best places to eat before visiting a city is an important task. This time, this task was for Jasper, who was part of a group I met in Amsterdam at the Hostel. He took us to the restaurant Singel 404 (lunchcafe) on Singel Street which boasts one of the best sandwiches in town, and it was good indeed.

The place was busy and we waited 5 minutes to get a table. In the menu there is a great verity of sandwiches. I got the 46 which is basically a bread (you must choose between brown, bagel, panini), old cheese, red onions (which I took off), chicken breast and some green seasonings. The sandwich cost 7.75 euros, which is pretty reasonable for Amsterdam prices. The sandwich comes open and well stuffed and you get cutlery to eat them! If you are in Amsterdam take a walk there, it is a good request.
